POROS
POROS is the third series in an ongoing photographic investigation into how we relate to our surroundings.
AEON explores the relationship between time and space. The images in OIKOS are more abstract, focusing on the experience of bounded space. POROS shifts attention towards passage, possibility, and the future.
The series depicts architectural interiors in which light traces a route towards something beyond itself: an opening, a threshold, a light source, or a space beyond the frame.
Derived from the Ancient Greek word for passage, route, and possibility, POROS refers not only to a physical way through, but also to the potential for change.
The images move between abstraction and recognition. They do not show a destination, but suggest one: a portal towards what is still unknown, yet holds possibility.
